Location / Hours

FLOAT is located in a store front loft of the historic Cotton Mill Studios at 1091 Calcot Place Unit #116, Oakland Ca 94606. We are open 7 days a week, 10 am to 10 pm by appointment. we can be reached at: (510) 535-1702, or by email to Info@TheFloatCenter.com

We are a little tricky to find, so please refer to the written direction links below, and take our phone number, just in case.

From San Francisco, and points north
From Alameda
From the south
From BART

From San Francisco, and points north

• Bay Bridge
• 880 South, towards Alameda, San Jose
• Exit 23rd Ave, Alameda
• Merge onto Kennedy Street
• Turn Left on E. 7th Street
• Turn Left on 23rd Ave.
• Turn Right on E. 11th Street, there is a Cotton Mill Studios sign on the corner
• Turn Left immediately onto Calcot Place, and proceed under the underpass, this will put you in front of a large brick building, we are located in Unit# 116 the storefront loft in front of the building just prior to the front main entrance.

From Alameda

• Go over the Park Street Bridge, towards 880 North
• Stay in the right lane and go straight past the 880 North entrance
• Turn Right on E. 11th Street, there is a Cotton Mill Studios sign on the corner
• Turn Left immediately onto Calcot Place, and proceed under the underpass, this will put you in front of a large brick building, we are located in Unit# 116 the storefront loft in front of the building just prior to the front main entrance.

From the south

• 880 North
• Exit 23rd Ave
• Stay straight onto 23rd Ave
• Turn Right on E. 11th Street, there is a Cotton Mill Studios sign on the corner
• Turn Left immediately onto Calcot Place, and proceed under the underpass, this will put you in front of a large brick building, we are located in Unit# 116 the storefront loft in front of the building just prior to the front main entrance.

From BART

• The closest station is Fruitvale, and we are approximately 10 blocks north, you can use google walking map to find us.
• You can catch a cab, just look to the left when you come down the escalator .
